ATM service for Friday 1st May and Expo

Service on 1st May
On Friday 1st May, coinciding with the opening of Expo, service will be operating all day long on the entire network.
In detail:
- Metro lines: Increased Saturday’s timetable. M1 line: last departure from Rho at 12.40 am.
- Overground service: increased Sunday’s timetable

Night-time network and District Radiobus
Regular night-time service during the night between Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May. Furthermore, the M1 night replacement bus service will be extended from Molino Dorino to Rho Fiera. District Radiobus: regular service.

ATM Point
On Friday 1st and Sunday 3rd May ATM Points at Duomo, Centrale, Cadorna and Garibaldi stations are open from 8.15 am to 1.15 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm. On Saturday 2nd May all ATM Points will be open as usual from 7.45 am to 8.00 pm.

Car parks
Ground level car parks located at Cologno Nord, Gessate, Romolo, San Leonardo, Molinetto di Lorenteggio and Quarto Oggiaro can be used free of charge from 8.00 pm on Thursday 30th April to 7.00 am on Monday 4th May but ATM staff will not be available on site. On the same days and in the same hours the Crescenzago car park will be closed. The Forlanini paying car park will be open 24/7. The Molino Dorino, Bisceglie and Lampugnano paying multi-storey car parks are open from 6.00 am to 2.00 am. The Caterina da Forlì, Famagosta, Cascina Gobba, S. Donato, Maciachini, Romolo Multipiano and Rogoredo car parks are open from 6.00 am to 1.00 am. The Einaudi M2 shift car park is closed on Friday 1st May and will open at 7.00 am on Monday 4th May.

Cascina Gobba-San Raffaele Link
On Friday 1st May service on the Cascina Gobba - San Raffaele light rail link will run to Sunday’s timetable from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm. On Saturday 2nd May regular service from 6.40 am to 8.00 pm. On 3rd May service will run to Sunday’s timetable from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm. As an alternative you can reach the hospital using bus line 925. Buses leave from the terminus located outside M2 Cascina Gobba station, destination via Cervi Milano 2; stop is in the proximity of San Raffaele Hospital in via Olgettina.

Service for Expo
As from 1st May and for the entire duration of EXPO, a special “ad hoc” service will meet the needs of the visitors’ flow.
In detail:
- Metro lines: M1 service will be increased and extended; last departure from Rho at 12.10 am on weekdays and at 12.40 am on Saturdays and Sundays. M2, M3 and M5: service will be increased and extended on Saturdays and Sundays so as to improve connections with the M1 at the interchange stations.
- Overground network: service increased on Saturdays and Sundays.

Night-time service operating all night throughout the week and M1 night replacement bus service extended from Molino Dorino to Rho Fiera.

How to reach Expo Exhibition site
Single ticket - € 2.50 - valid for a 105 minute trip from the time it is validated. In Milan valid on ATM’s and Trenord’s urban network. Outside Milan only valid on the M1 suburban metro line between Milan and Rho Fiera EXPO Milano 2015 and vice versa; not valid on railway routes;

Return ticket - € 5.00 – valid for two 105 minute trips from the time it is validated on ATM’s and Trenord’s urban network and on the M1 suburban metro line (M1) and railway route between Milan and Rho Fiera EXPO Milano 2015 and vice versa;
Day pass - € 8.00 – valid from the time it is validated until the end of service for an unlimited number of trips on ATM’s and Trenord’s Milan urban network and on the suburban metro line (M1) and railway route between Milan and Rho Fiera EXPO Milano 2015 and vice versa;
Day pass for the “Area Grande Expo” zone - € 10.00 – valid from the time it is validated until the end of service for an unlimited number of trips on the entire ATM network (both urban and suburban) and on the Trenord suburban railway routes as far as Rho Fiera EXPO Milano 2015 station and to and from the stations within the “Area Grande SITAM” zone.
Tickets can be purchased from ATM POINTS, the automatic machines located in metro stations, and authorised resellers (newsagents, bars and tobacconists). Customer assistant staff will also sell tickets at Rho Fiera station.

As from 1st May the following tickets will be available via the ATM MILANO APP: urban single ticket for 1.50€, urban day pass for 4,50€, Rho Fiera return ticket for 5€, single ticket to or from Rho Fiera for 2.50€ and day pass valid to and from Rho Fiera for 8€. Sending an sms with the message ATM to 48444 you can buy the urban ticket for 1.50€ and the Rho Fiera single ticket for 2.50 €.
