Fares and Types
Do you frequently use public transport? ATM meets all your mobility needs with a wide range of travel cards:
- Urban Travel Cards for travels in the Milan urban area
- Extraurban Travel Cards for travels on the ATM extra-urban routes from the towns of greater Milan area belonging to SITAM to the external ring area of Milan's network, outside the 90/91 trolley bus line circle, and viceversa. SITAM is the the zone-based pricing system (magnetic and paper tickets) of greater Milan area
- Cumulative Travel Cards for travels on both the Milan urban area and extra-urban networks (magnetic and paper tickets)
Buy on line your Electronic Card with the annual or monthly Travel Card (in italian)
Travel Cards allow you to travel whenever you wish and as often as you wish during your selected validity period (a week, month or year). If you purchase a annual Travel Card you are also entitled to discounts and special rates with the Carta Club ATM.
Travel Cards are charged onto an Electronic Card which costs € 10 and is valid for 4 years. We remind passengers that if you have a Travel Card valid on ATM urban network your children can travel free of charge thanks to ATM’s special discounts for families, if they are aged 5 and under or 6 to 10 (up to two children).
Children must be in possession of ID as proof of age; children without ID children must pay for their ticket. These discounts do not apply to school groups or organized tours.
Prams and pushchairs may be carried free of charge.
