At all ATM Point  facilities and authorised ticket sellers.

Recharging

You can recharge the pass at any ATM Point, at the authorized outlets (bars, tobacconists, stationers, newspaper stands) found throughout the Milan area and on intercity routes and from ticket machines installed in all the underground railway stations. Every time that you recharge remember the receipt to collect it as proof of payment.

Recommendations and rules for use

RicaricaMi must be carefully preserved and kept in good condition; we therefore recommend you do not fold it, perforate it and place near electromagnetic radiation .

Even though your rechargeable card does not carry your photo or your name, it is strictly personal and can't be used by anyone else. It must be shown whenever a ticket inspector asks to see it. Passengers found travelling without a card or with a card that is not valid are liable to the fines specified in the regulations in force. 

Travelling: how to validate the pass

The pass must be validated at the beginning of a each journey, and every time you board another vehicle, swiping your card on the electronic card reader installed on board surface vehicles and at the entrance barrier  to the underground railway.

In the event of damage

A duplicate can be obtained by giving the damaged one to the ATM Points. The same happens if the pass has been captured in an automatic distributor.
