Lines 4, B4, 42, 51, 52, 83, 166 and 172: diverted from October 6th 

The redevelopment of via Ornato is planned (renewal of the road, aqueduct, sewers and tram platforms). From October 6th:

• lines 4, 42, 51, 52, 83, 166 and 172 divert
• B4 buses change route
• we introduce circle line 162 in the Niguarda district, with stops and itineraries that can serve as an alternative to the lines diverted during the works

Service changes from october 6 to April 2027

Tram 4. It is replaced by bus B4 between Niguarda and Parco Nord. It meets the metro lines M3 and M5 at Zara

The trams operate between Cairoli and the Niguarda (Ospedale) stop. From here they turn into viale Ca' Granda and Fulvio Testi and follow the same route as tram 7 until piazzale Lagosta. They meet metro lines M3 and M5 at Zara. They do not pass through via Donatelli, via Graziano Imperatore and via Ornato (Parco Nord).

Bus 42. It diverts only towards Centrale

• Towards Centrale, the buses make the usual stops up to viale Suzzani. Then, instead of turning into via Lanfranco della Pila, they go straight ahead. The stops of via Della Pila, via Cecchi, via Maestri del Lavoro, via Palanzone/Ornato, via Bauer/piazza Belloveso, via Monte Rotondo and via Gregorovius are skipped. Consider circle line 162 from viale Suzzani to via Ornato.
• Towards Bicocca, stops won't change.

Bus 51. It diverts only towards Zara

• Towards Zara the buses make the usual stops up to viale Suzzani, after via Goffredo da Bussero. Then they divert and stop in viale Suzzani, via Gregorovius, via Monte Rotondo, via D'Anzi, via Donatelli. The stops of via Lanfranco della Pila, via Cecchi, via Maestri del Lavoro, via Palanzone/Ornato, Val di Ledro and via Graziano Imperatore after via Hermada are skipped. Consider line 162 from via Lanfranco della Pila to via Donatelli after via Graziano Imperatore.
• Towards Cimiano, stops won't change.

Bus 52. It diverts only towards Bruzzano

• Towards Bruzzano, the buses make the usual stops up to viale Suzzani, after viale Esperia. Then they divert to viale Suzzani, via Berbera and via Regno Italico. The stops in via Lanfranco della Pila, via Cecchi, via Maestri del Lavoro, via Palanzone/Ornato, via Terruggia/Val di Ledro, via Maffi, via Cesari, via Frugoni, via Saluzzo and via Ornato/Niguarda Parco Nord are skipped. Consider line 162 from via Lanfranco della Pila to via Ornato/Parco Nord.
• Towards Bicocca the stops do not change.

Bus 83. It diverts only towards Cormano/Comasina

• Towards Cormano/Comasina the buses make the usual stops up to via Bauer, after Piazza Belloveso. Then they divert to via Marmolada, via Arganini, viale Suzzani, viale Berbera, via Regno Italico and via Ornato Parco Nord. The stops of Niguarda Nord and Cascina California are skipped. As an alternative, consider line 162, which stops in via Ornato after via Palanzone, via Frugoni, via Da Saluzzo, via Ornato/Parco Nord and via Ornato/via Aldo Moro.
• Towards Niguarda (Ospedale) the stops do not change.

Bus 166. Only evening rides divert to and from Zara

• Towards Desio, the buses make the usual stops up to via D'Anzi. Then they divert to via Monte Rotondo, via Gregorovius, viale Suzzani, viale Berbera and via Regno Italico. All stops in via Ornato and the stop of piazza Belloveso are skipped. As an alternative, consider line 162, which stops in via Ornato after via Palanzone, via Frugoni, via Da Saluzzo, via Ornato/Parco Nord and via Ornato/via Aldo Moro.
• Towards Zara the buses make the usual stops up to via Achillini. Then they divert to via Bauer, via D'Anzi, via Majorana and via Graziano Imperatore. As an alternative, use line 162, which stops in via Ornato after via Palanzone, via Frugoni, via Da Saluzzo, via Ornato/Parco Nord and via Ornato/via Aldo Moro.
