Milano Design Week 2026 

On this page you will find all the information you need to reach Salone del Mobile in Rho Fiera and move around the city among the events of the Fuorisalone. From Tuesday 21 April we have scheduled additional trains on M1 and, in the evening, also on M2. On Saturday, metro services and car parks will stay open until late at night. Happy Design Week.

  • Touch in with your card or device on the reader.
  • No extra costs. The best fare is applied.
  • Accepted on ATM services only. Not accepted to continue the journey on S lines and railway services.

On Saturday metro services run until 2 a.m.

On Saturday 25 April, urban metro services run later than usual. The Rho-Molino Dorino, Famagosta-Assago, Cascina Gobba-Cologno and Cascina Gobba-Gessate routes operate on their usual timetable.

There is no service on the Molino Dorino-Rho Fieramilano route after the usual closing time.

There is no service on the Famagosta-Assago, Cascina Gobba-Cologno and Cascina Gobba-Gessate routes after the usual closing time.

On Saturday some car parks are open until 3 a.m.

On Saturday 25 April, Cascina Gobba, Famagosta, Lampugnano, Bisceglie and San Donato car parks are open until 3 a.m. Via Bovio car park (between M3 Maciachini and Dergano stations) is open 24/7. You can find the list of all car parks on this page.

To Salone del Mobile with M1 or S lines

  • From Milan city centre you can reach Salone del Mobile with M1, Rho Fieramilano stop.
  • Alternatively, you can reach Rho Fiera using the suburban railway lines (S lines), or regional trains from Porta Garibaldi station. From Milan city centre to Rho Fiera station you will need a 2,20 € ticket for Mi1-Mi3 fare zone. Railway services (S lines and regional trains) are operated by Trenord.

Do you have an urban pass? It’s not valid for Rho

Urban passes are not valid for Rho Fiera, because Rho is located outside the Municipality of Milan. To reach it you need a fare from €1.70. It can be loaded directly onto the pass card from the automatic ticket machines in the metro. The loaded integration is deducted at the first metro entry.

Tickets you need for Milano and Rho Fiera

These tickets are valid to travel in and around Milan and to reach Salone del Mobile from the city centre:

  • 2,20€ ticket. Valid for 90 minutes
  • Daily ticket. Valid for 24 hours. Price 7,60€
  • 3-day ticket. Price 15,50€
  • 10-ticket carnet. Price 19,50€

These tickets (Mi-Mi3 fare zones) are valid to travel on all metro lines and on surface lines (buses, trams, trolleybuses). They are also accepted to get to Salone del Mobile with S lines (railway network) and trains to Rho Fiera station.
