Tram 12: diversions 

Tram line 12 service changes to allow for upgrade works in via Bramante, including the renewal of roads, water mains, drainage work, electrical network, and tram tracks.

• Line 12 is interrupted between piazza Emilia and viale Molise until the end of March. Trams will run to piazza Ovidio. Works are currently underway for the new dedicated public transport lane in viale Umbria.
• From March 4 to September 16, line 12 skips stops in via Bramante.

Below are the details for the two diversions:

From March 4 to September 16

Line 12 skips all stops in via Bramante in both directions. Service is also interrupted between piazza Emilia and Molise until the end of March. From piazza Emilia, trams will continue to piazza Ovidio and viale Ungheria.From the Roserio terminus trams will run as far as Cenisio M5. Then they will divert in via Cimitero Monumentale, via Ceresio, and viale Montello. They will return to their usual route at Lanza, continuing to the Cadore/Corso 22 Marzo stop (piazza Emilia). Then, instead of turning onto viale Umbria, trams will follow the same stops as line 27, passing through viale Corsica, via Repetti, and via Marco Bruto, ending at piazza Ovidio. Then trams depart from piazza Ovidio back toward Roserio following the same route in reverse. During Paralympics, trams will extend from piazza Ovidio to the Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena (line 27 terminus at viale Ungheria/largo Guerrieri Gonzaga).

Alternatives between piazza Emilia, piazzale Martini, and the Molise terminus

• Tram 12 or 27 between Emilia and Campania/Corsica + line 90 to Molise.
• Bus 66 between via Cadore and Calvairate/viale Molise. It reaches viale Umbria, piazza Cappelli, piazzale Martini, and via Calvairate.
• Bus 92 between viale Umbria and piazza Cappelli.
