Tram 12: service changes  

Tram 12 is back in service between Certosa and Roserio. From Thursday 13, they change service in the city centre and between piazza Emilia and Molise: this is due to the maintenance of the platforms in Lanza (13-23 November) and the works for the new preferential lane in viale Umbria (from 17 November for about 4 months).

FROM 13 TO 16 NOVEMBER

No service between Bramante, Arena, Lanza, and Ponte Vetero. The service is split into two separate routes

1. Roserio-Cenisio M5-Bausan. Trams run as usual between Roserio and Cenisio (M5 station). Then they divert to Bausan via Monumentale, Ceresio, piazza Baiamonti, and Farini. 
2. Molise-Broletto-Cairoli M1. Trams run as usual between Molise and via Broletto. Then they turn in via Cusani (new terminus). Trams towards Molise stop in via Ponte Vetero.

FROM 17 TO 23 NOVEMBER

No service between Bramante, Arena,Lanza, and Ponte Vetero and between piazza Emilia and Molise. The service is split into two separate routes

• Roserio-Cenisio M5-Bausan. Trams run as usual between Roserio and Cenisio (M5 station). Then they divert to Bausan via Monumentale, Ceresio, piazza Baiamonti, and via Farini.
• Cairoli M1-Emilia-Ovidio. Trams run as usual between via Cusani and corso 22 Marzo/Cadore (piazza Emilia). Then they follow part of the usual path of tram line 27: viale Corsica, via Repetti, via Marco Bruto, and piazza Ovidio (new terminus).

FROM 24 NOVEMBER UNTIL ABOUT MID-MARCH

No service between piazza Emilia and the terminus Molise. Service is operated between Roserio, Emilia, and piazza Ovidio

Trams run as usual between Roserio and via Cadore/corso 22 Marzo (piazza Emilia). Then they follow part of the usual path of tram line 27: viale Corsica, via Repetti, via Marco Bruto, and piazza Ovidio (terminus).

Travel alternatives between Cenisio, Lanza, and the city centre (Cairoli, Cordusio)

• M5, M1, or M2: change at Garibaldi, Lotto, or Cadorna (network map)
• Bus route B14 between Cairoli, Lanza, Baiamonti, Monumentale, and Cenisio (route map). Buses depart from the stop of bus route 57 in Foro Buonaparte (Cairoli). They stop at Lanza, viale Gadio, via Legnano, piazza Lega Lombarda, viale Montello, piazzale Baiamonti, via Ceresio (central lane), via Procaccini, and via Cenisio.

Alternatives between piazza Emilia, piazzale Martini, and the terminus Molise

• Tram 12 or 27 between Emilia and Campania/Corsica + trolleybus 90 to Molise
• Trolleybus 92 between viale Umbria and piazza Cappelli
