Tram 14: diversions 

Tram 14 service changes to allow redevelopment works in via Torino and via Correnti, including the renewal of roads, water mains, drainage work, electrical network, and tram tracks.

From March 4 to March 8

Line 14 will skip all stops in via Bramante in both directions.

After via Cenisio M5 (towards the city center) and via Legnano Arena (towards Roserio) stops, trams divert. They pass through Cimitero Monumentale, via Ceresio, and viale Montello.

From March 9 to September 13 - Map

Tram 14 operates in both directions between Cimitero Maggiore and Cairoli. It will not rache Bramante, Broletto, Cordusio, Orefici, Duomo, Torino, Correnti, and corso Genova. Between Cantore and Lorenteggio, it is replaced by tram 3.

From the Cimitero Maggiore terminus trams will run as far as Cenisio M5. Then they divert via Cimitero Monumentale, via Ceresio, and viale Montello. Trams return to their regular route at the Lanza stop. From there, they reach via Ponte Vetero and turn into via Cusani, which will serve as the temporary terminus. When departing toward Cimitero Maggiore, trams will pass through Foro Buonaparte and Lanza, then continue along the same route in reverse.

From March 9 to September 13, between Cantore, Coni Zugna, Solari, Giambellino, and Lorenteggio, Line 14 is replaced by Line 3.

Alternatives to reach the City Center:
M4 Metro Line: (San Cristoforo, Gelsomini, and all stations along via Lorenteggio)
Bus 50: on service between Lorenteggio and Cairoli M1.

Alternatives from Cimitero Maggiore to the City Center:

  • Tram 12 to the city center.
  • Tram 14 to Cusani (Cairoli) + M1.

Useful Metro Stations for the City Center - Network Map:

  • For via Correnti and Carrobbio: De Amicis station (M4).
  • For via Orefici and via Torino: Duomo M1 M3 or Cordusio M1 stations.
  • For via Broletto, via Ponte Vetero, and via Dante: Lanza M2, Cairoli M1, or Cordusio M1 stations.

From September 14 to October 2

Tram 14 remains interrupted in the city center in both directions. It will not pass through Broletto, Cordusio, Orefici, Duomo, Torino, Correnti, and Corso Genova. Service resumes in via Bramante starting September 17.

From September 14 to October 2, the line will be split and operate on two separate sections:

  1. Cimitero Maggiore – Lanza: From the Cimitero Maggiore terminus, trams run as far as Lanza (skipping via Bramante until September 16). They pass through via Ponte Vetero and turn into via Cusani, where they terminate (near the Cairoli M1 station). On the return journey toward Cimitero Maggiore, they pass through Foro Buonaparte and Lanza, then follow the same route in reverse.
  2. Lorenteggio – Porta Genova: From Lorenteggio, trams follow the usual route as far as the Porta Genova stop. From there, they depart in the opposite direction.

Alternatives from Lorenteggio to the City Center

M4 Metro: all stations along via Lorenteggio, parallel to via Giambellino.
Bus 50: service between Lorenteggio and Cairoli M1.

Alternatives from Cimitero Maggiore to the City Center

  • Tram 14 to Lanza + M2 Metro.
