M4 line: new timetables and planned closures

We are carrying out all the activities to open the entire line to passengers. These include technical tests on the infrastructure (expanding from 8 stations and 13 trains to 21 stations and 47 trains) and the circulation tests (pre-operation) requested by the Ministry of Transport. During the testing time, which can only be carried out in the absence of passengers, M4 trains are replaced by buses. Night bus NM4 service is operated every night as usual.

Bus BM4 timetables and frequency

From Monday to Friday:

between 7:00 and 9:30: buses every 3/4 minutes
between 6:00 and 7:00 and between 9:30 and 19:30: buses every 6/7 minutes
after 19:30: buses every 15 minutes

On Saturdays and holidays:

between 6:00 and 19:30: buses every 7 minutes
after 19:30: buses every 15 minutes

Departures from Linate to Duomo:

Departures from Duomo to Linate:

first departure at 6:00
last departure at 00:45

Night buses NM4 start running after the end of BM4 service.
