Road-side parking

Parking in Milan: look at the colors of the stripes and the vertical signs

On the blue lines, parking is subject to a fee. Those with a permit (e.g. a pass for residents or people with disabilities) do not pay
Road signs indicate areas where parking is prohibited, reserved or regulated by special conditions (for example: parking spaces for the disabled, loading and unloading areas, parking with timetable discs, etc.).
ATM manages payment on the blue lines on behalf of the Municipality of Milan. The parking on the blue lines is not guarded. ATM is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles.

Apps are the fastest way to pay for parking

Check that the code on the app matches that of the area where you are parking. Once you have set the duration of the stop, you can also end it earlier, or extend it.

Fares for occasional parking – zone map

The fares and duration of the stop depend on the area. Each zone has its own code, which corresponds to the fare, maximum duration, days and timetables of parking. The code can be found on the vertical signs.
