The ATMosfera trams are the result of careful design work, restyling and modernization of the oldest iconic streetcars in Milan.
Conceived to offer the best possible comfort and meanwhile maintain the original structure of the carriage, the inner space is composed of:
• 24 fixed places (with tables remodeled from the original teak benches)
• a kitchen
• a wardrobe
• a toilet

The itinerary
Route map
The tour starts and finishes at piazza Castello, 2 (at the corner with Via Luca Beltrami).
Nearest Metro stops: Cairoli M1 or Cadorna M1 M2.
We recommend you come 15 minutes before the departure. Please be on time!
Dinner is served at 8 pm (ATMosfera tram 1) and at 8.30 pm (ATMosfera tram 2). The Sunday lunch is served at 1 pm. Meals last about 2 and a half hours.
The tour proceeds along these main tourist attractions: Duomo, the Arco della Pace, the “Vertical Forest” in the Porta Nuova district, Teatro alla Scala, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Darsena (the dock of Milan), also famous for its nightlife.
The proposed itineraries may vary periodically either according to the road system or to offer every time different views of Milan.
The menu
The proposed meat, fish and vegetarian menus are the work of professional chefs on board and are periodically updated to ensure the freshness and seasonality of the products.
Each menu includes a hors-d’oeuvre with a champagne flûte, first and second course with side dish, dessert, wine (the wine list offers a choice of selected labels, privileging the quality and food pairing proposed), water and coffee.
Children’s menu includes a starter, first and second course, dessert and beverage.
The choice of menu must be indicated when booking, and can be changed up to 74 hours in advance.
Please indicate any allergies or food intolerances when making your booking.
Reservations
• Reservation can be made all year round, every day (except on planned closures days) in the section booking on line of the website.
• Reservations can be made for 2 or multiples of 2. An odd number of seats can only be reserved if making last minute bookings (from 7 days to 74 hours before the date of the meal).
• For higher numbers of guests we suggest you book the entire tram in exclusive use (which is available at lunchtime as well), in the dedicated section of our online booking platform.
Modification and deletion policy
By accessing the online booking site, in the “Your Booking” page, you can change or cancel your reservation according to the following rules.
Up to 7 days before the event (the system will calculate the exact time, i.e., hours and minutes, from the date and time of the original booking):
- menus can be modified;
- you can change the date free of charge according to calendar availability, by selecting a new date in the current calendar year;
- the number of participants may be reduced by 2 or multiples of 2, subject to table availability. For cancelled seats, 70% of the initial amount will be refunded;
- you can cancel the reservation in full and 70% of the initial amount will be refunded.
From 7 days to 74 hours before the event (the system will calculate the exact time, i.e., hours and minutes, from the date and time of the original booking):
- menus can be modified;
- the number of participants can be reduced, but without right to refund;
- you can cancel your booking, but without right to refund;
Cancellations submitted less than 74 hours before the event (the system will calculate the exact time, i.e., hours and minutes, from the date and time of the original booking):
- Cancellations submitted less than 74 hours before the event cannot be modified.
Prices and payment methods
• Dinner: 80 € per person (from 1 of february, 90 €)
• Lunch: 65 € per person (from 1 of february, 75 €)
Once payment has been made successfully, a voucher is issued and required for boarding.

FAQ
What is the difference between Atmosfera 1 and Atmosfera 2?
Restaurant trams are identical and offer the same service.
Does the tram have air conditioning?
Of course. Air conditioning system may be adapted according to the season of the year.
Is there a toilet on board?
Each tram is equipped with a toilet.
Can I bring my pet on board?
The reduced space does not permit pet transportation, even if they are small in size.
Is ATMosfera wheelchair accessible?
Tram vehicles have entry steps which cannot be wheelchair adapted. The small spaces and the impossibility of moving the seats and tables must be considered when dealing with people with reduced mobility. In addition, any mechanical aids used must be placed in the cloakroom, located at the rear of the tram. Even the toilet is not easily accessible. We recommend checking the internal dimensions of the tram given above before booking.
What does the service include?
- A 2 hour 30 minute tour of the historical and contemporary areas around Milan
- A menu per person to choose from: meal, fish or vegetarian
- Coffe and beverage (wine included)
How is the food prepared?
Trams are equipped with a kitchen that offers freshly prepared dishes. Some of them may be prepared by catering services and heated before serving.
Can I ask for the menu to be changed?
The menu cannot be personalised, but the chef will meet your request for any allergy problems or food intolerances (you can indicate them when making your booking).
