With the ATM app, you can buy all types of ticketsto travel in Milan, in the municipalities of the Metropolitan City and those in the province of Monza and Brianza where the Integrated fare system (STIBM) applies. You can also buy tickets for route Z301 Milan - Bergamo operated byNET (Nord Est Trasporti). You can pay by credit card or PayPal.

You always must validate the ticket before boarding

Once purchased, the tickets will be shown on the app, in the Wallet menu . Select a ticket and tap to validate it before boarding.

Use the QR code on your ticket to enter and exit the metro

Touch in and out at the QR reader. Keep the app opened on the QR code page and hold the phone at least 5 centimetres away.
Re-validate the ticket each time you start a new journeyon the metrowith the same ticket as long as it is valid.

Avoid fines in case of inspections

You will be fined if you travel with non-valid tickets or passes. Always validate your ticket before boarding . During a check, open the app and show our staff the validated ticket.

Do not delete or update the app while using the ticket

If you delete, re-install or download an update of the app, you lose the ticket s you have validated or the ones you are using to travel.
